The British Association of Dermatologists is the central and long-established association of practising UK dermatologists, whose aim is to continually improve the treatment and understanding of skin disease. Website:  bad.org.uk

The Royal College of Pathologists is a professional membership organisation committed to excellence in the practice of pathology. The 7700 members and fellows work in hospital laboratories, universities and industry worldwide. The College aims to advance the science and practice of pathology, furthering public education and promoting research in pathology and to disseminate the results.

The National Specialist Dermatopathology (NSD) EQA Scheme is a United Kingdom and Eire wide scheme set up with the support of the Royal College of Pathologists Dermatopathology Subcommittee with the aims of education (exchange of ideas and dispersal of new knowledge) and ensuring the highest standards of performance in diagnostic histopathology. It is designed for specialists in dermatopathology and is aimed at a level to conform to the equivalent of the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) specialist skin cancer MDT work.  Non-neoplastic cases are aimed at a similar level.  The scheme includes lymphoma and sarcoma involving the skin.

The International Society of Dermatopathology The aims and objectives of the Society are to increase knowledge of the structure and function of the skin and of diseases of the skin by microscopy. The Society intends to promote friendship and scientific exchanges among its members of different countries; to sponsor international and regional meetings; and to sponsor educational events.
